The house is located  on ten acres in Alta Ridge Ranches, Alta, Wyoming, which is just over the hill from Jackson Hole, Wyoming.  Alta is know as the "Quiet side of the Tetons", away from all the traffic and congestion of Jackson.  That is what attracted the sellers  to Alta instead of Jackson.

Both Summer and Winter are recreation heaven in Teton County, Wyoming. Close by is Henry's Fork (world famous fly fishing), Yellowstone National Park, The Big Hole Mountains (world class mountain biking), Kayaking on the Snake River and numerous other locations, horsebackriding, hiking and skiing at Grand Targhee and Jackson Hole.

The topography of the ground is excellent for horses.  It is mostly flat meadow with some rolling land which creates extra privacy for your home.  The picture above is looking West across the land toward the Big Hole Mountains.

South Leigh Creek runs just to the South of the Alta Ridge Subdivision which consists of four lots.  The entrance to the National Forest is just over 1/2 mile down the gravel road.  Great trail riding, hiking and cross country skiing right out your door.
